Here's a quick quiz...
Which of the following
will we be seeing soon....???
-
The XFL on NBC
-
The XFL on FBH
-
The Texas Rangers
in the play-offs
-
An updated front
page on FBH
-
FBH money winners receive
their checks
-
None of the Above
If you answered
A,
B, C, D or E: You are the eternal optimist, and have no fear of
disappointment.
If you answered F: You would be Correct, but possibly still disappointed.
But unlike The
XFL, Troy Aikman, and Timothy McVeigh, FBH WILL be
back for another season!!!
Sincere
apologies go out to anyone who missed the XFL updates and
were wondering why they stopped. I'm sure many are wondering
why they ever started. Both are good questions I don't have
good answers to. I guess I was like many football crazed NFL
fans who's appetite is left wanting more after the SuperBowl
each season. So I eagerly tuned into the XFL Opening Night
and was actually amused by the new league. It's also hard to
quit on the creative forces that come with updating this
website week after week from September thru January. I needed
an outlet, and the XFL was only too willing. But also like
many football fans, I quickly tired of the XFL and all it's
silliness. After a few weeks, I ran out of things to write
about on the website (other than the shrinking TV ratings),
the availability of XFL game photos was slim, and quite
simply my desire to cover the XFL shrunk along with the
ratings. I intended to do an update prior to the "Million
Dollar Game", but didn't, then meant to do an XFL wrap-up
after that game, but didn't.
And so here
we are in early May, and instead of leaving the page looking
like it was abandoned, I thought I'd do a little Summer
thing. Baseball is in full swing, the NFL Draft has come and
gone, the temperatures are reaching the 90's (and not just in
Texas), and it's time to put FBH on vacation...
Here's A Pair Of "Summer" Scenes...
